We have electricians, plumbers, locksmiths, glaziers, carpenters and refrigeration/air conditioning mechanics available on JAK. We will add more trades to the app in the future based on market demand.
Generally, we prefer that you only accept jobs that you know for sure that you can complete. However, if the occasion arises where you can’t complete the work or get to the job, you have the option to cancel the job and the customer can re-post it to other providers.
No, JAK automatically picks up your location via your phones location services. You will receive job notifications of all jobs that are available within a 30km radius of your current location.
Jak specialises in the ‘at once’ repairs and maintenance space, however jobs can range from small repairs around the house to larger jobs that may take a few days.
Customers are required to enter in their payment details on the app before posting a job, so payment is guaranteed. If a problem does arise with your job, simply get in contact with the team at JAK and we will resolve the issue.
Our third party payment gateway, Stripe, transfers the funds to your nominated account at the completion of your job on JAK. Stripe is the best way to accept payments online and in mobile apps. Stripe handle billions of dollars every year for forward-thinking businesses around the world.
